Laura Cook, Administrator, Houston
Laura is the Administrator for Evergreen Private Care Houston. She has been with Evergreen since its launch and oversees the management of all aspects of Evergreen Houston’s daily operations. Prior to joining Evergreen, Laura was the director for a neurodiagnostics company, managing the Dallas and San Antonio markets. She facilitated good relationships between the company, physicians, clinics and patients while assuring that the daily workflow processes and operations ran smoothly. She was also the director for a therapy/diagnostics company, managing all field technicians, quality assurance, and reporting.
She received her B.A. from McNeese State University in 1989. Customer satisfaction and quality assurance has been Laura’s passion her entire career in the health and wellness industries. She carries this same passion for quality into her administration of Evergreen Private Care. She is an active Chamber member and is also very active in her local house of worship where she also teaches.
Martha Williams, Clinical Liaison, Houston
Martha is a Licensed Vocational Nurse bringing together her dedication and compassion for those in need within the acute care, clinical, DME, hospital and rehabilitative specialties. Her 36 years of hands on experience lends her well to the special concerns and needs of the elderly and their families as well as of the needs of patients of any age that need additional assistance. Her passion to serve her community branches out into the music ministry of her local house of worship, quilting and sewing for the residents of area nursing homes.
Melissa Brookins, Office Services Coordinator, Houston
Melissa is the Office Services Coordinator for Evergreen Private Care in Houston. She also serves as the Referral Coordinator. Her primary focus is to make the best match possible for every client and every caregiver! Melissa has lived in the Houston area for 18 years. Before joining Evergreen, Melissa served 24 years as an Office Administrator in the Automotive Industry. During this time she also served as HR and Customer Relations Manager. She is active in her local house of worship where she also teaches in the Children Ministry.
MaryAnn Cunningham, Marketing and Development Consultant, Houston
MaryAnn is an advanced practice nurse and Board Certified Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP-BC) specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic conditions often found among older adults and generally associated with aging. Her passion includes all things geriatric. MaryAnn understands the problems faced by older adults and provides expert care for elderly clients and their families. She has a great knowledge base of resources available for the health promotion, teaching, guidance, and counseling of geriatric clients and their families and enjoys utilizing her Spanish speaking skills when needed. Clinical experiences include primary care, holistic care, Alzheimer’s care, dementia, delirium, depression, ALS management, medication review, wound care, pain management, and palliative care, among many others. MaryAnn has been a nurse for 14+ years. She is a member of the Houston Area Nurse Practitioner Association and the Gulf Coast Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurse Association and has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Maryann was born and raised in northwest Houston and enjoys spending time with her family.
